Goldie Bluth (born February 24, 1992, nee Pheasant) is a cartoon pheasant, and the wife of Chanticleer Bluth. She met Chanticleer when he was performing as Aaron Prescott, singing a duet with him. Goldie currently lives with him on his grain farm near Nashville, Toonessee, living a happy life as a housewife and stay-at-home mom for their children. She loves waking up to Chanticleer's beautiful crowing and having him serenade her every night as well. Her speaking voice may be a bit squeaky, but she has an amazing soprano voice which mixes well with Chanticleer's tenor. Goldie loves him as much as he loves her, and she is proud to be his wife and the mother of their two kids. She also befriended Jedi General Anakin Skywalker, and explained Chanticleer's real identity to him just before the encounter with the High School Musitron. Through this connection, Goldie is also friends with Anakin's wife Padme, and helps her whenever there's trouble in her relationship. Goldie is a sweet, loving wife and mother, wholeheartedly supporting Chanticleer in his struggle against the evil Disney corporation.

Birth and Early Life

Chanticleer's father, Don Bluth, knew that son would need a wife someday, so in February 1992, he took an unused cel of Goldie from his film Rock-a-Doodle (1992) and dropped a bit of magical paint from the Godbrush onto it. The magical paint synthesized a mixture of human and pheasant DNA by design recognition, and then formed those blood cells into major body systems, including a beak, feathers, talons, and hair. Like with Chanticleer, Goldie burst out of her cel at 6:00 AM on February 24, 1992. Luckily, Don knew what happened before, and so, he drew, colored, and animated a father and mother for her. Don redirected the portal in his house to send the new family to Baton Rouge, Looneysiana, with Goldie turning into a freshly hatched pheasant chick as she stepped through.

However, unlike Chanticleer's surrogate parents, Richard and Mary Williams, Goldie's father, Jack Pheasant, was abusive towards his family, always coming home drunk from his dead-end job. Goldie suffered a lot during this time, and was even beaten by him on several occasions. When Goldie was 12, her mother finally divorced Jack, and the two moved to Toon Orleans. When she was 16, her mother died of fever, leaving her on her own. As a result, Goldie had to get a job, first as a cashier, then a car wash attendant, then a waitress at a diner. Every time she received endless sexual harassment about her looks from the male patrons, forcing her to quit. Eventually, Goldie wound up as a showgirl in Nashville, singing in the chorus.

In March 2010, she was forced by her boss to seduce his newest act, Aaron Prescott, in order to keep his mind off his previous life on the farm. However, due to his charm and constant affection for her, Goldie fell in love with Aaron for real. This would later prove vital when she found out her boss's real intentions and his alliance with the evil Grand Duke of Owls. She told Chanticleer about this development, found out his real identity, and raced back with him to the farm to stop the Duke. Once Chanticleer defeated the villain with his Super Crow, he proposed to Goldie and she married him a week later, with his father Don in attendance.

The High School Musitron Incident

In June 2010, Chanticleer was performing as Aaron when Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker was in attendance. Impressed with his vocal skills, Anakin knew that Aaron would be the perfect cartoon character to defeat Disney's dreaded High School Musitron. "Aaron" was about to change back into Chanticleer when Anakin knocked him out with a sleeping gas grenade. Goldie, realizing it was Chanticleer who was being kidnapped, burst onto the scene, asking Anakin why he was doing this. After explaining that the fate of the universe was at risk, Anakin and his Padawan Ahsoka Tano dragged the unconscious "Aaron" aboard the Twilight, taking Goldie with them. Goldie then told Anakin about "Aaron's" real identity of Chanticleer and about his role of crowing every morning to bring up the sun. As "Aaron" slowly woke up, Anakin realized that the ship had ran out of fuel, and the group then crashed near Chanticleer's farm, which was now flooded due to the High School Musitron. When exiting the ship, Goldie helped Chanticleer up and brought him over to rest on some debris. After the High School Musitron had been defeated, Anakin properly introduced himself and Ahsoka to Chanticleer and Goldie, explaining the Jedi's role in protecting the universe. The two were fascinated, as they had never seen extraterrestrials like the Jedi before. After the Battle of Cartoonia, Goldie and Chanticleer moved to Coruscant, meeting Padme and Obi-Wan. There, she would find a temporary job selling war bonds for the fight against Disney while Chanticleer fought on the front lines.

Becoming a Mother

After Chanticleer defeated Rasputin, Goldie was reunited with him on June 25th, and the two spent a romantic evening together as husband and wife. Chanticleer serenaded Goldie with the song they sang when they first met, "Kiss and Coo". During a break in the number, Chanticleer asked Goldie if she wanted to have kids with him, to which she enthusiastically said yes. The two embraced after the song, and passionately made love in their bed. The next morning, Goldie happily told Chanticleer that she was pregnant, and he was overjoyed at the news. Goldie, meanwhile, recalled all the lessons that her mother had taught her so that she could be a good mother to her kids.

Escape from G.W. Sampy

To raise money to provide for his children, apart from his officer's commission and inheritance money, Chanticleer found a gig back on Cartoonia for his secret identity Aaron Prescott. A local movie producer named G.W. Sampy was making a movie, entitled "Rock-A-MONG", and wrote the lead role with Prescott specifically in mind. Sampy also cast Goldie as the leading lady in the film. Goldie left the care of her two newly-laid eggs to her father-in-law Don, who put them in a custom-built incubator. Little did they know that Sampy had a sinister purpose behind the film. In reality, he was stalling for time so that representatives from the Disney Corporation could arrive at the studio and retrieve Chanticleer and Goldie, who they would take back to Serenno to be publicly executed before the Disney High Command. In return, Sampy would be rewarded with 200 million dollars, enough for him to live like a king.  

Anakin and Ahsoka came to visit Chanticleer and Goldie at their house, and they told them about the movie and about Sampy. Anakin became increasingly suspicious of Sampy after some background research, and managed to stealthily land the Twilight in the studio lot and sneak into Sampy's office. There, he found evidence that Sampy had been in contact with Disney. He managed to collect the data, and quickly wrote a note to Chanticleer saying that Sampy was really evil and to get out of the studio as soon as possible. Anakin wrote that note knowing that he would be captured, and sure enough, he surrepetitiously slipped the note to Goldie while meeting with her. She initially refused to believe him, and he left, disheartened. Anakin then discussed other ways of warning Chanticleer about Sampy's plans with Ahsoka. Meanwhile, Sampy returned to his office and noticed that the data had been stolen, and his henchmen captured the two Jedi under his orders. Sampy then bound them with rope and threw them into the brig of the Twilight. However, Goldie managed to see Anakin and Ahsoka being captured by Sampy, and having read the note as well, she had to tell her

husband about this treachery. During a five-minute break, Goldie told Chanticleer about what had happened, and when Chanticleer said they had to do something, Sampy burst in. He had found out about the whole turn of events, and had no choice but to reveal his master plan to them. Chanticleer then called Sampy out as a traitor, but Sampy told Chanticleer that if he refused to play along, Anakin and Ahsoka would be executed. Chanticleer protested, saying it was blackmail, but to Sampy, it was just show business.  Chanticleer didn't give up hope, and thought about a way to escape Sampy's clutches and free his friends. He knew that the prop motorcycle he was on had a full tank of gas, so he figured that was going to be his escape vehicle. Goldie then said that Anakin and Ahsoka were being held in the Twilight on the studio lot. Chanticleer then noticed that the studio door in front of them was stupidly left wide open, and he knew that now was the perfect moment to make a run for it. When the cameras started

rolling, Chanticleer turned on the bike's igintion and told Goldie to hang on. He revved up the engine, and the two roared out of the studio. Sampy then ordered his goons to go after them, for they were Disney's ultimate prize and he could not afford to lose them. Sure enough, Chanticleer and Goldie found the Twilight and quickly made their way towards it. However, on a bump, Goldie's ponytail blocked Chanticleer's vision, and by the time he brushed it aside, they were coming in too fast, and the motorcycle crashed. Fortunately, they landed right in the Twilight's cargo bay, and Anakin saw them come in. Relieved, Anakin told Ahsoka to punch the throttle, and they took to the skies. They landed back at Chanticleer's farm, and were relieved that everything had turned out well. Chanticleer and Goldie were safe, Sampy was ruined, and Goldie could get back to sitting on the eggs. They got the eggs back from Don, and took off for Coruscant, ready to continue the fight against Disney.

Having Kids

Goldie sat on the eggs for two weeks after the Sampy incident, until on July 31, they finally hatched, revealing her newborn son and daughter. Once they hatched, Chanticleer and Goldie cleaned them up and dressed them up all snug. After a couple of hours, they immediately said their first words: "Mommy" and "Daddy". Goldie felt that this was indeed the happiest moment of her life. Goldie let Chanticleer think of names for the two children, since there wasn't anyone in her family worth naming a kid after. He named their son William, after his surrogate family, the Williamses, and his very kind and loving surrogate father, Richard Williams, and he named their daughter Donna, after his real father, Don. Chanticleer, Goldie, William, and Donna then spent the evening together for the very first time as a family. A couple of days later, Chanticleer and Goldie showed their kids their new home back on Cartoonia. However, soon after, they all went back to Coruscant, as Chanticleer was called away to duty once more. 

The End of the War

In late September 2010, the Disney Corporation made one last desperate move in order to turn the tide of the war in its favor. General Grievous snuck onto Coruscant and made his way into Chanticleer's penthouse apartment and kidnapped Goldie, William, and Donna. Goldie attempted to hold off Grievous and cry for help, but he quickly caught her. Next, Chancellor Palpatine revealed to Anakin and Chanticleer that Republic Army Intelligence had learned of a massive Disney anchorage near the planet of Saleucami. Anakin and Chanticleer soon jumped there with their fleet, and caught the Disney ships by surprise. A few minutes after the space battle began, General Grievous sent a video call to the Resolute, and Chanticleer and Anakin responded. To his horror, Chanticleer saw Grievous holding Goldie, William, and Donna hostage aboard the Disney command ship, and Grievous said that they would only be freed if Chanticleer surrendered himself to Disney. Anakin protested, saying that he could sneak aboard the enemy flagship and free them himself, but Chanticleer refused, saying that this was the only way. Anakin did not know this at first, but Chanticleer secretly knew that surrendering himself would allow him to get as close as possible to the Disney High Command, giving him a chance to kill them instead. Chanticleer boarded a Republic Nu-class shuttle, which transported him to the Disney command ship at the same time a Disney Sheathipede-class shuttle transported Goldie, William, and Donna to the Resolute. After the elimination of the Disney High Command, Goldie and the kids met Chanticleer on the landing pad on Coruscant when he returned. They all embraced each other, knowing that they, along with the rest of the universe, were all safe at last. Anakin then arrived, telling them that the Republic had destroyed the rest of the Disney fleet, and that the Americartoons were celebrating the final victory over Disney. Goldie, Chanticleer, William, and Donna all joined in, as the planet erupted in celebration.

After the War

After Goldie moved back to Cartoonia following the victory over Disney, she still kept in touch with her friend Padme via hologram, asking her for updates on the Clone Wars and further advice on public speaking. Chanticleer sensed the Force potential within Goldie, and trained her to become a Jedi along with William and Donna. When they were ready, Goldie and Chanticleer opened a Jedi Academy on the farm in the late 1960s, with the two both taking on training of the new initiates. Having found confidence in herself during the war and through her training, she would have several apprentices at the academy.

In 2026 (1971 Cartoonia Time), Goldie would become a grandmother when her son William had two boys, Jonathan and Anthony.

Chanticleer Bluth

Goldie met Chanticleer when he was performing as Aaron Prescott in March 2010 and she was performing in the chorus in the same nightclub. They started dating soon after, when she was ordered to seduce him by her boss "Pinky" Pinkerton. Chanticleer fell in love with her not only because she was beautiful, but also very sweet and kind deep down. When he courted her and showed that he really cared for her as a person, Goldie quickly returned his affection, changing her prior attitude towards men. Shortly after, she informed him of his manipulation by the Grand Duke of Owls, and the two went back to his farm to defeat the Duke. A week later, they got married, and they have continued to be madly in love with one another. Goldie even gave Chanticleer a pet name, "Chantie", a homophone of the word "shanty", because of his singing. Chanticleer cares for Goldie very much, because she is sweet, fun-loving, caring, and talented. Her looks, he believes, are just an added bonus. Goldie loves Chanticleer because he is the only guy who truly shows romantic feelings for her, unlike the previous men who lusted after her. She truly feels safe whenever he's around, as she also sees him as a protector figure. She also noticed how handsome Chanticleer is, but that too is a secondary reason for loving him. Chanticleer serenades Goldie every night, and sometimes, she joins in as well.

After Chanticleer defeated Rasputin, he and Goldie made sweet, passionate love, losing their virginity and conceiving their children in the process. Because they had amazing sex the first time, they do it almost every night since their kids hatched. They believe that sex is one of the many things that holds marriage together. In addition, Goldie and Chanticleer go out on dates, with one of their favorite venues being the DiscoTech night club on Coruscant. They both love to dance as well as sing. Goldie also likes Chanticleer's hidden talent for blowing bubble gum bubbles. He even shares his stash of Dubble Bubble with her. She's also working on blowing bubbles, but she can't get them nearly as big as Chanticleer's. Still, she loves it when Chanticleer blows a big one, in addition to his amazing singing.

Every morning, Chanticleer wakes up Goldie with his beautiful crowing, and thoughtfully helps prepare breakfast, gets the kids ready for the day, and puts the coffee on. Goldie also appreciates the fact that Chanticleer helps her out with some of the basic chores, because most men hardly, if ever, do that sort of nice thing. All in all, Chanticleer really shows his love for Goldie by doing everything he can for her, and she returns the favor by doing everything she can for him.

Anakin Skywalker

Goldie was Anakin's original point of reference when it came to explaining how Chanticleer's crow worked, and she helped Anakin and Ahsoka get back to their ship prior to the battle against the High School Musitron. In addition, Anakin was her frame of reference when it comes to the Republic's galaxy and how things work there. They are still on friendly terms, even if she does see him as rather rash. Sometimes, Chanticleer and Goldie go on double dates with Anakin and Padme, far from the prying eyes of the Jedi Council.

Padme Amidala

Goldie has come to admire Padme, who has been in leadership positions since the age of 14. Goldie has learned much about politics by watching Padme, and she formulated her opinions on issues, which she shares with Padme from time to time. Padme, in turn, confides her feelings and secrets in Goldie, and she likes her down-to-earth responses to concerns. Padme even gave Goldie some pointers on public speaking, which she would employ in her job selling war bonds. However, the two do differ on their views on the war. Padme fears that the Clone War is stripping away civil liberties in the name of security and diverting much-needed funds for essential services such as healthcare and cheap electricity. While Goldie understands this, she sees the war as necessary to defend innocents from malevolent forces such as Disney and the Separatists, but she wants it to end as quickly as possible so that life can go on.

Personality

Goldie deeply loves and trusts Chanticleer, and has come to see him as a protector figure.

While Goldie was a bit cynical and desperate before, meeting Chanticleer really changed her. She has come to realize that she actually is a kind and caring person, even though she previously put it all on as an act. Goldie helps her friends and listens to them when they have problems, such as when Padme nearly broke up with Anakin. She is very affectionate towards her husband Chanticleer, singing along with him every night, giving him gifts, making love, and finding new places to go on dates with him. She also cares about innocent people, seeing how she was abused as a young girl. Because of this, she took on a temporary job as a fundraiser for Republic war bonds, motivating Republic citizens to become involved to free those under the yoke of Disney and Separatist oppression.

Like her husband, Goldie has also taken an interest in learning about "future" pop culture, finding out about new movies, TV shows, and music groups from either him, Anakin, or Padme. Sometimes she hums or sings some songs from the future she likes, taking a particular interest in Madonna.

Goldie also likes flowers, and she's been impressed with some of the exotic and colorful varieties that Chanticleer sends her in bouquets from other planets.
